Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International airport. On arrival in Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Delhi is just not a city but it is a book a book which narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven times and has been witness to the various events which has brought India through the history books. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built and rebuilt.
Today as the capital of India Delhi is the seat of administration and the monuments which tell the saga of a bygone era stand there. These icons are testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction for the tourists. With an area of 1483 sq. Kms, Delhi is all set to acquire full statehood. The charm of Delhi has attracted Emperors, Conquerors and poor in equally. It is correctly said that Delhi is a land of 'Dilwalas' or for people with heart. This phrase acquires a true colour when one goes around the lanes of Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi - Agra
Morning drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra - check into the hotel. Afternoon visit Red Fort and famous Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. Overnight at hotel.
aj Mahal - One of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. This beautiful mausoleum took 22 years to complete with a work force of 20,000 craftsmen and master builders, who came from all over Asia to join in this great work from Baghdad, Shiraz, Delhi, Samarkand and Turkey. The marble, India s finest; was quarried at Makrana near Jodhpur. Precious and semi precious stones were imported from distant lands : Jasper from Punjab, Jade & Crystal from China, Turquoise from Tibet, Lapis from Afghanistan and Ceylon, Chrysolite from Egypt, Amethyst from Persia, Agate from Yemen, Malachite from Russia, Diamonds from Golconda and Mother of Pearl from the Indian Ocean. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Agra - Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipu, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Buland Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Thereafter continue drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur - check into the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amer Fort experiencing the taste of erstwhile Maharajas by ascending the Fort on Elephants back. Afternoon tour of city visiting City palace, Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) drive pass by Pink City. Overnight will be at Hotel in Jaipur.
Proceed for Pushkar after breakfast. Reach Pushkar by noon and relax. Check in at the SWISS TENTS. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 06 : Pushkar
Full day will be spent in PUSHKAR FAIR. Surrounded by hills on three sides, Pushkar, 11 kms from Ajmer, abounds in temples. of these the most famous is the Brahma temple - the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the country. Once a year, during the Kartik Purnima, the entire region comes alive with a pulsating Camel and Cattle Fair. There is a week long celebration with an explosion of fun, frolic, games and laughter with threads of religious fervour. Bedecked and festooned cattle wait in the clouds of sand and the pious gather at the break of dawn to take a dip in the holy Pushkar Lake to absolve themselves of all their sins.
Day 07 : Pushkar - Ranthambhore
Visit the BRAHMA TEMPLE - The only one in the world. Start early after breakfast for Ranthambhore. Overnight will be at Ranthambhore.
Day 08 : Ranthambhore
Enjoy the day at Ranthambhore going out for JUNGLE SAFARIS into the PARK. Overnight will be at Ranthambhore. Ranthambore National Park is in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state.Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, this is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here.The park covers an area of Approximately 400 sq Km and if combined it with the area of sawai man singh sanctuary area,it is around 500 Sq km.
Ranthambore national park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger". It got it's status of a National Park in 1981.
Day 09 : Ranthambhore - Kota
Proceed for the morning SAFARI. Start for KOTA after breakfast. Overnight will be at Kota. Kota, The history of the city dates back to the 12th century A.D. when the Hada Chieftain, Rao Deva, conquered the territory and founded Bundi and Hadoti. Later, in the early 17th century AD during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, the ruler of Bundi -Rao Ratan Singh, gave the smaller principality of Kota to his son, Madho Singh. Since then Kota became a hallmark of the Rajput gallantry and culture.
Day 10 : Kota - Bundi - Chittaurgarh
Start for Bundi after breakfast. After visiting the FORT proceed to stay at the BIJAIPUR CASTLE SUITE. Overnight will be at the CASTLE.
Chittorgarh, The pride and glory of Rajasthan. Chittaur echoes with the tales of romance and valour unique to the Rajput tradition. A ruined citadel, where the royal past lives in its imposing forts, graceful palaces and spectacular 'chhatris'. This fortified settlement has been ravaged thrice and each time the outcome was 'Jauhar' - when women and children immolated themselves on a huge funeral pyre while men donned in saffron robes of martyrdom rode out of the fort towards a certain death.
Day 11 : Bijaipur - Udaipur
Start for Udaipur after breakfast. Reach and check in at hotel. Relax in the evening. Spend night at Udaipur.
Day 12 : Udaipur
Breakfast will be at hotel. Overnight will be at Udaipur.
Udaipur, The city of Lakes, Located in the Aravalli ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is situated at a distance of about 405 km from the state capital Jaipur. The City of Dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravali Mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens and much more.
Day 13 : Udaipur - Jodhpur
Proceed in the morning after a leisurely breakfast and reach Jodhpur. Relax in the hotel and visit the museum of UMAID BHAWAN PALACE. Overnight will be at Jodhpur.
Day 14 : Jodhpur
Morning go for a village safari in the jeep and have a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant wildlife (game) and memorable moments of the great desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside. Overnight will be at Jodhpur. At the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. The massive 15th century AD Mehrangarh Fort looms on the top of a rocky hill, soaring 125 mts. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Proceed for Jaisalmer after breakfast. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Jaisalmer.
Day 16 : Jaisalmer to Bikaner
Breakfast will be at the camp. Proceed to Bikaner. Check in at hotel. Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Bikaner. Bikaner, the royal fortified city, with a timeless appeal in the North State of Rajasthan, retains the medieval splendour that pervades the city's lifestyle. More popularly called the camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. This city stands on a slightly raised ground and is circumscribed by a seven-km long embattled wall with five gates. The magnificent forts and palaces, in reddish-pink sandstone created with delicacy, bear testimony to its rich historical and architectural legacy.
Undulating lanes, colourful bazaars and bright and cheerful folks make the visit Bikaner an interesting experience. Visit the Junagarh Fort, built in 1593 AD by Raj Rai Singh, one of the best in Rajasthan. It comprises of 37 palaces with pavilions, mosaic courtyards, carved balconies, kiosks and windows dotted all over the structure. The Shish Mahal, the Grand Durbar Hall, the 17th century Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal and the Phool Mahal bring to life the grandeur of a bygone era. The Fort museum has a rare collection of Sanskrit and Persian manuscripts and miniature painting.
Day 17 : Bikaner - Mandawa
Breakfast will be at hotel. Proceed for sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight will be at Mandawa. Shekhawati is a colourful fantasy having a fascination uniquely of its own. The open-air art galley, as it is popularly called, is famous for its plethora of painted havelis, all commendable pieces of the rich artistic tradition of this region. It is famous for its Havelis built by rich merchants of the region, display a unique architectural style that evolved around the courtyards to ensure safety and privacy of the women folk and protection from the heat of the long and harsh summers. The Havelis, painted predominantly in blue, maroon, yellow, green and indigo have beautiful wall paintings that adorn their walls.
Day 18 : Mandawa - Delhi
Breakfast will be at the hotel. Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day 19 : Delhi
Proceed for a full day tour of Old & New Delhi after breakfast. Relax in the evening. Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day20 : Delhi - Home
Breakfast will be at hotel. Day will be free to explore the city and finish last minute shopping. After the show you will have FAREWELL DINNER before reaching the airport for flight home with sweet memories of India.
